Day three of the cruise, Welcome to Hilo on the big island of Hawaii, today we have a helicopter ride around the Kilauea volcano, but it is raining and very cloudy...Well, the helicopter ride has been cancelled, but we are able to schedule a different tour through a different company for tomorrow in Kona, but what to do in the mean time? So off we go exploring Hilo in search of vanilla bean. I know what you are thinking, yes vanilla bean, our driver to/from the airport for the cancelled helicopter ride gave the group some information about making your own vanilla extract, check that out here along with all the exciting details of the great vanilla hunt. Later on day three we scheduled a tour of the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens, the gardens are beautiful and we were able to get up-close to the native plants and get some nice pictures, check them out here. Time to set sail for Kona and along the way we passed by Kilauea at night check it out here.

Day four of the cruise, Kona on the big island of Hawaii, today the helicopter ride to the volcano and tropical valley, the sites were breathtaking, rather than tell you click here to see them.

Day five of the cruise, now in the port of Nawiliwili on the island of Kauai. We have a bi-plane tour of the island scheduled, but guess what it's raining the pilot asked if we could push the flight off until this afternoon, no problem, we start to head off the ship and just do some exploring, shortly after leaving the ship, we run across a scooter rental place, so let's get two, check out Evel KaJoan and Brian here, along with some pictures from the ride. Time to get to the bi-plane, well just check out the pictures here. Back from the bi-plane time for a luau, come on what trip to Hawaii would be complete with out a luau?
